The top stem is easily pared off and the bottom cut with a band saw.

Sand top and bottom with a sanding pad in the drill press or on the lathe.


Having signed the bottom, I finish the mushroom with a bath of 50/50 mineral and vegetable oil and leave to drain.


As I said, these are a good seller and a few are needed for summer sales.
