Wood Turning an Apple Hollow Form
| once the tenon was about 1/2" thick I stopped |

| and cut it off with a saw |

| leaving a small stubb that needed removal. |

| I could have chiseled it away but I find that sanding is easier on the piece and I want to sand the bottom anyway. So I got the bowl lathe ready for sanding with a small disk |

| and removed the stub with 40 grit paper and sanded the rest up to 120. |
|
| I strengthened the crack on the bottom with CA and then sanded to 2000, the same as the sides. |
