Wood Turning an Apple Hollow Form

once the tenon was about 1/2" thick I stopped
and cut it off with a saw
leaving a small stubb that needed removal.
I could have chiseled it away but I find that sanding is easier on the piece and I want to sand the bottom anyway. So I got the bowl lathe ready for sanding with a small disk
and removed the stub with 40 grit paper and sanded the rest up to 120.
I strengthened the crack on the bottom with CA and then sanded to 2000, the same as the sides.
