Turn a wooden spoon with an offset handle. (part 3)
| Refine the handle to a pleasant feel and a thickness with which you are comfortable, particlulary as this will be a working tool and strength is needed. The weakest part of the spoon is the joint from shaft to bowl. |

| The bowl and join are refined as much as we can on the lathe |

| and I burn in a couple of lines for decoration. |

| Turn the handle for comfort and to be rid of all flats and tear out. |
|
| I chose to add a bead and some burn lines for decoration. |
|
| Part the spoon off at the handle and remove the othe stubb with the bandsaw. |
|
| There is always something for practice. |
