Our Trip to the Rockies - 2006

"We were ignored by the animals, but the people were great!"

In June of 2006 my wife and I travelled to Edmonton, Alberta to visit our daughter. While there, the three of us journeyed to Jasper National Park and beyond to Mt Robson. Here are some pictures of the trip.
We stayed at a bed and breakfast with cabin facilities. Outside our cabin was a rushing stream, Swift Current Creek, and a view of the mountains.
A little closer to the stream you get a great look at one of the mountains.
Just to the right is Mt Robson, Canada's tallest mountain. You can see how tall it is as you notice that the top is in the clouds and it is well over the tree line.
On the other hand the trees cover this one.
Here is a closer look at the Swift Current Creek. There is quite a contrast with the slower stream coming in just across the way.
I had to get a shot with Mt Robson in the background.
