Welcome! Each of the projects here are relatively easy for the beginning turner to do but each one will also teach you a little more about turning. Have fun and practice, practice, practice. | |

Keep the cook, in my case me, happy with a Kitchen Spatula. This is great practice in spindle turning. The blade is a bit tricky at first because you are turning air a lot of the time, but it sure is satisfying when you get it done. |

I had a request for a Lazy Susan and decided to take pictures for a web page. These make a quick Christmas gift for helping with the family dinner. |

Another one for the cooks in the house and a good stocking stuffer. I had read an article about making whisks which had a good section on cutting and installing the wire for a whisk. Realizing I would rather be turning than wire cutting I decided to take a cheap whisk with a poor handle and make a handle for it. This makes a nice but simple beginner's project with what I feel is a neat way to center the handle on the projecting staff. |
